Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
